A reminder for all Lockerbie Writers!

Final copies of your work must be with me by midnight on 28th February – that’s this Sunday! This also includes any introductions/acknowledgements which you’d like to appear at the beginning of your piece(s).

Edited pieces are flooding in and out of my inbox, so keep an eye on your emails over the next few days. Any and all edits will have to be approved by you before I send the final, final, FINAL document off to be printed.

Not long to go! It’s all coming together …

First Draft

It’s been an exciting and busy few weeks at Lockerbie Writers! After several months of hard work, we’ve pulled together a first draft of the anthology. This featured a grand total of twenty-seven short stories and poems, with another handful to be added into the final draft.

On Tuesday, the group met to look at this first draft. Everyone was overwhelmed by how much we’ve achieved in such a short space of time. We can’t wait to share it with the whole world later this spring!

Over the next few weeks I’ll begin to post “guest” blog pieces from members of Lockerbie Writers. These will be on a range of subjects, including the process and struggles of writing – and you might even get to see some sneaky peaks of the anthology! If you’d like to keep updated, please subscribe to this blog and/or ‘Like’ our Facebook page – and don’t forget to share!

Our success depends on the support of you and the Annandale and Eskdale community.

If there’s anything you’d like to see on this blog, please let me know in the comments!
